Exploring File View Modes and Sorting Operations in Folder Slice
File View Modes
Folder Slice offers two file view modes: List View and Thumbnail View.
- List View: Displays detailed information such as file name, type, size, and modification date. Right-click the list header to choose which columns to display.
- Thumbnail View: Shows file thumbnails, ideal for images, videos, and other media files.
- Click the "List View" or "Thumbnail View" button at the top right of the file display area to quickly switch between views.
- Each folder can have its own view mode configuration, which is automatically applied when you switch folders.
File Sorting
Folder Slice supports multiple file sorting options:
- In Thumbnail View, right-click on a blank area and select "Sort By" to sort files by name, type, size, creation date, modification date, and more.
- In List View, click the column headers such as "Name", "Type", "Size", "Creation Date", or "Modification Date" to quickly change the sorting method.
Show Folders First
- In Thumbnail View, right-click on a blank area and select "Show Folders First" in the sorting options to display folders at the top of the file list.
