Folder Slice Image Assets Mode
Introduction
In daily creative work, image assets often require more detailed filtering and intuitive previewing than regular files. For this reason, we've added "Image Assets Mode" to Folder Slice, specifically optimizing the filtering, display, and search process for images, helping you find suitable materials faster in editing, design, and other creative scenarios.

- Dedicated filtering area: Provides image-related filtering conditions such as orientation, size, aspect ratio, resolution, and date.
- List/Gallery toggle: Switch between thumbnail gallery and detailed list view with parameters for both quick browsing and precise parameter-based selection.
- Smart Folders: Save frequently used filtering rules as smart folders to instantly access common asset collections.
- Professional preview support: Integrated image viewer supporting spacebar preview, keyboard navigation, and full-folder browsing with detailed metadata viewing.

Usage Examples
- Editing vertical short videos: Select orientation -> Portrait to quickly filter all vertical screen materials.
- Finding image collections of the same theme: Filter by tag/color/scene combinations, save as smart folders, and directly open for project reuse.
Usage Tips
- Start with broad filtering ranges for quick positioning, then gradually refine conditions to avoid over-filtering multiple dimensions that result in too few results.
- Common combination filters (like "Landscape + filename starts with
kitten
") should be saved as smart folders to improve reuse efficiency. - If you rely on tag management, prioritize adding multi-level tags to assets, which can significantly improve precise search capabilities.
Summary
Image Assets Mode combines commonly used filtering dimensions for images with more flexible display methods. Whether for quick browsing or precise searching, it can save significant time in finding materials, making creative work smoother.
