How to Use Hover Preview in Folder Slice?
What is this feature?
When you hover your mouse over a file, you can preview its content in a floating window without selecting it. The preview window opens next to the file, keeping your focus in place for a natural workflow.

How to Use
Setup
Open Folder Slice settings, find "Hover Preview" under "General - Display Enhancement."
Two Trigger Methods
Method 1: Spacebar Trigger Hover over a file and press spacebar to preview. By default, this works only for unselected files. You can enable "Preview Selected Files" to replace the system default preview.
Method 2: Auto Preview Preview window appears automatically after hovering for a few seconds. Delay time is adjustable.
File Type Support
Basic Support
Supports all common file formats. Add file types you want to preview in settings. Only most common formats are enabled by default.
Special Optimization
Enhanced preview for specific file types:
- Audio: Improved player interface, MIDI support
